FAQ & INFORMATION

Eyelash extensions are synthetic lashes, that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash that are applied to your natural eyelashes with an adhesive formulated for lash extensions. They look like natural eyelashes and give length, curl, and volume to create beautiful, long and full eyelashes. VOLUME

Eyelash Extensions

Volume lashes also know as Russian Volume, Volume Styling, American Volume, Hollywood Volume & many other names is the art and technique of creating a hand-made bouquet or "fan" of  2-4 lightweight lashes. The fan is applied to each individual suitable natural lash to create full and fluffy effects. The multi-lash pickup method is an advanced technique and can literally double, triple, even quadruple the lashes on each eye. Only the highest quality lashes that are feather light & ultra thin are used to create this unique volume look.

Eyelash Extensions

Everyone loves a classic beauty so why should classic eyelash extensions be any different? The highest quality lashes are used to enhance your natural lashes. They are applied using the classic application method which is a 1:1 ratio. One synthetic lash is adhered with an adhesive specifically formulated for eyelash extensions to one natural lash. This method allows you to add length and curl to your existing natural lashes for a look that will allow you to skip the mascara. You can literally wake up and walk out the door looking refreshed and gorgeous! "Classic" application is timeless and always beautiful.

HYBRID

Eyelash Extensions

Simply said, if you can't decide, then don't choose one or the other. Mix your sets to have a bit of fluffy and a bit of classy. You will have the best of  both worlds.

With skilled application, proper home care, and touch-ups every 2-3 weeks, they can last indefinitely. Without regular touch-ups, a full set, if you don’t care to have your eyelashes filled, should be completely gone after 6-8 weeks, depending on your natural shedding cycle. If you choose to maintain the look of your extensions, schedule an appointment for a touch-up every 2-3 weeks.

How long do they last?

How do I prepare for my appointment?

  • Come in with very clean face/hair.
  • Remove all eye make-up.
  • Avoid waterproof mascara at least 2 days prior to your appointment.
  • If you wear hard contact lenses, bring your case to put lenses in before the application.
  • Avoid Caffeine.

Absolutely not! Eye pads are placed over the bottom eyelashes to separate the top eyelashes, prior to application. For new sets, the process is explained to you throughout the service.

The application process is relaxing, you might even fall asleep. The best part is you open your eyes refreshed and with beautiful, lush lashes. From then on you wake up with the look of makeup (or at least mascara)!

Does the application process hurt?

Do eyelash extensions damage my natural lash?

Not at all. When applied correctly by a licensed, trained & certified lash stylist & with proper home care your natural lashes will stay healthy. In many cases the natural lashes have even improved. In most states and in Colorado eyelash extensions are only to be applied by licensed Cosmetologists or Estheticians, so make sure you do your research and ask to see this very important license BEFORE getting your lashes done by anyone! I am licensed and have many advanced certifications in eyelash extensions. I also have a state approved school to teach eyelash extensions in Colorado. You can read my bio and check out all my training and certifications here.

There is little or no need to change your lifestyle; you can still swim, shower, exercise, and sleep worry free with your enhanced eyelashes. If you want to get the most out of your eyelash extensions, it is important to properly care for them. Eyelash extensions that are not properly cared for will fall out sooner and can even be the cause of irritation for the eyes. In order to lengthen the life of your extensions, it is essential that you practice proper maintenance of your eyelash extensions. If you properly care for your extensions, they will likely remain in place until the natural eyelashes that hold them fall out. Follow the aftercare given to you after your first full set!

How do I care for my lashes?

Can I wear mascara?

Yes & No. Only on the tips for Classic extensions, Never for Volume extensions. However most people find that mascara isn't necessary. IF you decide to wear mascara (Classic), only use water-based mascara that is formulated for synthetic eyelashes. Only apply mascara (Classic) to the tips of your eyelashes, not at the base where the bond is. Never use waterproof mascara. Feel free to continue to wear mascara on your bottom eyelashes as you normally would.

Yes, although you do need to be careful when removing it. Use an oil-free make up remover and while cleansing, do not rub, touch, or pull on your eyelashes. Make sure to ALWAYS cleanse your lashes thoroughly daily.

Can I wear my makeup as normal?

What if I decide I don't want to wear Eyelash Extension anymore?

You can come back and have the remaining lashes removed, or you can wait for the lashes to shed naturally. DO NOT attempt to remove them yourself. You can cause unnecessary damage to your natural lashes. See a professional for proper removal.
